Yep, you can actually ride together — one of our passenger bikes out in Asheville.
Please call before booking a passenger bike. Passenger bikes are limited to one of each model, and availability must be confirmed by phone. The listed maximum capacity is the combined load on the bike, including the adult, passenger, and any carried gear. Age minimums apply to the passenger.

Jasion Retrovolt (older passenger)

  • 750 W motor
  • 330 lb maximum capacity
  • 20 × 4 inch fat tires
  • Recommended passenger ages 8 and up

Example: A 200 lb parent and a 9-year-old child weighing 80 lb total 280 lb, leaving 50 lb below the stated capacity for any carried gear. The child's age meets this bike's minimum.

Older passenger example: A 180 lb parent and a 15-year-old weighing 130 lb total 310 lb, leaving 20 lb for carried gear.

  • 350 lb maximum capacity
  • 20 × 4 inch fat tires
  • Recommended passenger ages 6 and up

Example: A 220 lb parent and a 7-year-old child weighing 65 lb total 285 lb, leaving 65 lb below the stated capacity for any carried gear. The child's age meets this bike's minimum.

Older passenger example: A 190 lb parent and a 16-year-old weighing 140 lb total 330 lb, leaving 20 lb for carried gear.
